EDITORIAL
The Axis Digital Residency seeks to support artists who require additional resources and support to develop and disseminate new work over a three month period. We are looking for artists interested in sharing their residency experiences with our online community, and who are ready to shine a critical spotlight onto their work and practice.
Successful applicants will receive £1,500, a bespoke package of support, critical engagement from a writer, use of our digital platforms, as well as opportunities to engage with our content and members.
For the first six months of 2021 we’re offering two opportunities for artists to take part in our Axis Digital Residency Programme.
Round 1 Deadline: 10am, 16 November 2020
Our Artist of the Month for October 2020 is Meera Chauda. We talk to Meera about her practice which involves creating playful and complex narratives featuring fictional female protagonists.
We're still collecting donations for our Hardship Fund through our Gofundme page. All of the money we receive will go towards helping our members who have been affected by Covid-19 and the impact this has had on their practice.
#ArtistsSupportingArtists
We have increased the Public and Product Liability insurance included with Network Associate membership to £10 million and for no extra charge!
As a charity we put artists' first. We’re the only artists’ membership organisation that provides this level of cover as standard.
It offers greater peace of mind to artists, curators and creative freelancers who may be undertaking more ambitious projects.
