Toxic Outpour was created on South Beach,Whitehaven,West Cumbria in April 2022.The artwork symbolises a seemingly never ending displacement of seaborne plastic being washed up on West Cumbrian beaches. Each subsequent period of rough seas contributes to the problem of maritime pollution along this particular stretch of coastline and a small army of local litterpickers endeavours to remove the debris as best as they can.The installation was packed away after photographing the artwork with the plastic ready to be used for the next response.
