Bring Your Own Beamer, Wakefield

Express House, Wakefield

Published: 30 June 2016

Bring Your Own Beamer is an open event, where artists bring their own artwork and projector to create a changing and experimental exhibition.

Ways to take part:

1. Bring along a projector* along to the night and show your artwork.

2. Send Axisweb your video files to be shown on the night.

3. Come along on the night and see what everyone has put together!

“BYOB is for anyone who is interested in moving light, sound and performance. Projection can mean many things. Projections are very flexible and create a freedom to react to each other's works, move things around, and create a dynamic collaborative experience.”

If you are interested in showing your work then please drop us an email at [email protected] so we can make sure we have enough plugs and extension leads, and if you have any requirements such as needing to install or drop off work earlier than the evening then let us know.

If you'd just like to attend the event then please sign up for free tickets at the following link:

*This can be any type of projector, screen, phone, laptop, games console... anything which can play a video.
